Prudentia Psychological Services is operated by Dr. Sonia Sangalli, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol) registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). 2. What Data We Collect
When you use our consultation request form, we collect the following personal data:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Preferred contact time
- A brief description of your concerns or goals (which may include health-related information)
We also collect limited technical data through cookies and analytics tools (see Section 7).
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we process your data on the following bases:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — You voluntarily submit your data via the consultation form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you have requested.
- Explicit consent for special category data (Article 9(2)(a)) — Any health-related information you share in the "what brings you to therapy" field is processed only with your explicit consent.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to your consultation request within 24 hours
- Arrange an initial consultation session
- Verify insurance arrangements where applicable
- Communicate with you about your care
We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you have given explicit consent. We never sell your data to third parties.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
Your form submissions are processed through:
- Web3Forms — Our form submission service, which transmits your data securely via HTTPS to our email. Web3Forms does not store your data permanently. See their privacy policy.
- Google Ads — We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This does not share your form data with Google, but Google may set cookies on your device (see Section 7).
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except where required by law or with your explicit consent.
6. Data Retention
Consultation request data is retained for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of the therapeutic relationship plus 7 years as required by professional guidelines (BPS and HCPC). If you do not proceed with therapy, your enquiry data is deleted within 12 months.
7. Cookies and Analytics
This website uses the following cookies:
- Google Ads (gtag.js) — Used for conversion tracking to measure advertising effectiveness. These are non-essential cookies that are only set with your consent.

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
